Various steps involved in the process of mechanical brick making are illustrated in the given process diagram.
In the first stage,clay is mined from appropriate places with the help of an excavator. The clay thus excavated is dried and sifted with the help of a metal grid, before it is moved to the roller for the grinding process. The sand thus obtained is made to a semisolid matter with the help of water. This is thoroughly mixed prior to the raw brick making step.
Raw bricks are made either by machine molding or by wire cutting and these are moved to the oven for drying for about two days.
The next process happens in the kiln, where these bricks are heated to a temperature between 200 and 1300 degree Celsius in two stages(moderate to high).These burned bricks are allowed to cool in a cooling chamber for about three days before the two concluding steps: packing and dispatch.
