A comparison of the layout of the coastal village, Seaville in 2010 when compared to how it was in 1980 is drawn in the given maps.

Overall, it is clear that the village had transformed itself into a small town between the years.

As per the first diagram, the village had limited facilities in 1980, and this included some holiday cottages, a small hotel and a tea room. The holiday cottages were located towards the west bank of the village, and the hotel was at their southern tip. The tea room was closer towards the south bank, and not so far from the east bank.

The most visible change in 2010 was the establishments of permanent settlements at the west, where holiday cottages and marshlands existed. The tea room was replaced by a restaurant, and adjacent to it, there came a big hotel. Holiday cottages were moved to the east bank, and a new golf course was made, clearing the woodland, which was there at the north. Two other new introductions were a boat club and a retirement village, both near the river which was proximal to the east bank of Seaville.
