Information on the share of average calorie intake per day from fast food sources divided by age groups in 2015 is depicted in the given bar chart.

Overall, it is clear that the relationship between the age and the calorie intake from these sources was reciprocal. It is also evident that men had slight more dominance than women in case of the intake.

As per the chart, the highest consumption of fast food was among the age group: 18-24. Out of the total daily calorie intake of men in this age group, 17% came from fast food, which was just one per cent more than their female counterparts.

However, in case of the higher age groups, that was, from 35 to 64, everyday intake of calorie from fast foods was comparatively lower. In case of men, the proportion of intake out of the total was between 9 and 10, whereas in case of women, it was between 8 and 9. The least amount of calorie intake from these sources was recorded among the oldest age group, that was, 65+ at an average of 4%. Here too, it was a per cent higher than the female intake.
