The differences in the response of the youth from four European countries on the best solution of global warming are portrayed in the given bar chart.

Overall, the pattern of available response was almost similar from all nationalities, except from the Portuguese youth.

As seen in the chart, the highest proportion of respondents was from Portugal, and exactly half of them opined that lifestyle changes would be the most effective solution for global warming. Majority of the respondents from the other three countries too had the same opinion, but the rate of respondents was much lower. When about 37% of Spanish youth opined so, in case of Italian and Dutch youth, the rates were 30 and 23.

Solving environmental issues was the next effective solution suggested by the young people from Spain, Italy and Netherlands, which they considered slightly more effective than governmental regulations.. Approximately 20% of the respondents from these countries had this suggestion. However, according to the Portuguese youth, this was slightly less important than governmental regulations. In Portugal, one-fifth of the respondents considered legislation from the state would be more effective than solving environmental concerns.
