The monthly sales estimation of gold in Dubai in 2002 is depicted in the given solid line graph.
It is clear that the sales of gold in Dubai was predicted to fluctuate widely throughout the year. As per the prediction, in January 2002 gold worth 200 million dirhams was set to be sold out. Within a couple of months, the projected figures shot up to 350 million dirhams , which was the highest recorded estimation.
However, the trend was set to reverse till the month of July to reach about 120 million dirhams. A second spike is noticed in the month of August, when the projected figures crossed the 200 mark , but it was predicted to be short lived to fall back to 120 million dirhams. Then after a revival was expected and the sales was set to hit back to around 200 million dirhams.
Overall, its clear though the average sales of gold was anticipated to be positive in the beginning of the year, the estimation showed fluctuations then after.
