The pie charts below show the results of a survey of children’s activities. The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities that girls participate in. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The twin pie charts given represents the participation of children in cultural and leisure activities divided by gender.

Overall, except listening to music, the participation percentage of both genders  was different in nature.

As per the survey, computer games were preferred by a considerable proportion of children. When just over a third the boys liked this, 18% girls got engaged in this. However, reading was far more popular among girls than boys. Over a fifth of the girls (22%) reported that they read, while just 2% boys revealed that they had this habit. 

The most popular exclusive activity among boys was basketball, while among girls, it was dancing. When just over a quarter boys played basketball, 28 % girls participated in dancing. The proportions of boys who played soccer and skateboarding were 17 and 11 respectively, whereas 11% girls played netball and did gymnastics. Excactly 10% of both boys and girls responded that they liked to listen music.
