The pie charts below show the results of a survey of children’s activities. The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities that girls participate in.

Data regarding the survey results of cultural and leisure activities in which boys engaged in comparison to their respective counterparts is depicted in the given pie charts.

Overall, except reading, listening to music and playing computer games, the activities each gender gets involved are exclusive in nature.

As per the survey, computer game is the most popular common activity among both genders. When just over a third boys play this, the proportion of girls who play this accounts for just under a fifth (18%). However, reading is far more popular among girls than boys. When nearly 22% girls read, just 2% boys engage in this activity. The rate of both boys and girls who listen to music accounts for 10% out of the total respondents.

The most popular exclusive activity among boys is basketball, while among girls, it is dancing. When just over a quarter boys play basketball, 28 %girls dance. The proportion of boys who play soccer and skateboarding is 17 and 11 respectively, whereas the rate of girls who play netball and participate in gymnastics accounts the same (11%).
