Overall, it is clear from the charts that both these nationalities depend heavily on visual media compared to other sources.

It is obvious that the lion’s share of the Australian population prefers to obtain news online. Just over half of Australia’s total population access news by this way (52%), which is about 15% more than those who view TV for the same purpose. In Canada, the situation is different. When exactly two-fifth of its total population depends on TV to gather news, online news accessing is seen among 36% of its population.

It is clear that the popularity of other media is insignificant in both countries. Of these, print media is more popular. The rate of those who access it in Canada is 14%, which is the double of those who access it in Australia. When 7% Canadians listen to radio for news, in Australia, it is just 2%.
