I am writing to seek your attention towards the pathetic condition of the road, which is left unrepaired for quite a long time.
I am a contract engineer and I have been a resident of Higgin’s Street for almost 20 years. It was just a couple of years ago; the road in front of my house was widened and was concreted. However, the present condition of the road is really pathetic.
The road starts at the St Albert’s Street and ends at the ‘Happy Nook’. The 3 miles road has almost over 200 potholes of different sizes. It really takes almost 20 minutes for a person to reach the other end of the road. The residential committee had already complained about the situation almost twice this month.
I would like you to consider the difficulties of the commuters who use the road, and would like to take timely action to repair the road. We, all the residents are ready to assist the work voluntarily, both in case of money and labour.
