You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The school library is seeking applicants for a job over summer break. Write a letter to the library’s manager, in your letter include:
– A brief introduction of yourself
– Your experience and relevant skills
– Why you want the job
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ……..,
Dear Manager,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in the open job position at the school library during this summer break.
I am a second year undergraduate student at St. Augustine College, and my major is Library Science. My ambition is to become a head librarian in a popular library in a famous university and I chose my major at university for the same reason.
While I was in my high school, I worked as a volunteer at the local library for almost two years, which was also a part of my school management. I helped the chief librarian with checking out books, placing the returned books to the shelves, and answering to the queries over the telephone.
I noticed that the position is part-time, which would help me engage myself during the summer break within the radius of my subject. Another advantage is that I can earn some money for the next semester’s tuition fee.  I assure you that I can assume the post at your convenience.
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours faithfully,
Vincent
