 Dear Sir/Madam,

 I am a resident of Dale View Avenue and I am writing to drag your attention towards an issue related to the garbage collection in our area.

 As per the council’s decision, the garbage has to be collected on every Thursday. However, since the beginning of this winter, the garbage van is seen coming only on alternate weeks.

 The worst problem which the residents face is the fully-packed garbage bins outside their gates. Many of these blocks the traffic and pedestrians, and some release bad odour.

 When we talked to the driver of the van, he replied this happens because of unexpected staff shortage. Therefore, I would suggest you to employ more staff to cover the work. If not the problem would be worse in the upcoming summer months.
