Information on the proportion of people in different age groups who use internet for various purposes is depicted in the given table.

 Overall, it is clear that most internet users are in their 20s, while the least are either in their 70s or older.

 In general, the three main internet activities are getting news, online shopping and product research. The rate of people who engage in the first activity ranges between 70 and 76, while the rates of those who carry out the second online fall between 41 and 69. Though there is no data regarding the proportion of adolescents who do product research, a sizeable proportion of other age groups do that (70-83%).

 It can be noted that the most preferred activities of the teens are online games and downloads. When around 81% of them play games online, 52% do download. As the age advances, the proportions of those who are engaged in these are seen generally declining. The least preferred activity on the internet is searching for people, and the youngest group is least interested in it (5%).
