The table represents consumer preferences for the features of automatic washing machines by four different nationalities.

In general, there are four similarities between the preferences of residents of the UK and France. Germany and Sweden also showed the same number of some similarities.

Turning to shell dimensions, customers from the UK and France prefer 34”&narrow, and in case of drum material, they prefer enamel. The capacity of the machine these nationalities opt for is 5 Kilos and the washing action they like is agitator. On the other hand, the Germans and the Swedes prefer washing machines with stainless steel drum material, 6 kilos capacity, 34” & wide shell dimensions and tumble washing action.

 In case of loading, except the customers in the UK who prefer top load, rest prefer front load. Out of the four nationalities, the French go for the minimum speed (600rpm), whereas the Germans opt for the maximum speed (850 rpm). While the UK’s customers like an inconspicuous appearance, the Swedes prefer a strong appearance. The Germans go for an indestructible appearance, whilst the French prefer an elegant appearance. Only customers from these two countries need water heating system.
