 The first major reason behind the issue is the irrational use of plastic. To be precise, plastic is seen used everywhere, even when it is least demanded. For example, in certain occasions like birthday parties and marriages, disposable plastic is used, and this becomes an instant waste. The second is that a very few tend to reduce its use or reuse it. Many are seen disposing plastic wastes after single use, without segregating it and sending it to the recycling plant. The result is the presence of plastic litter everywhere, and eventually in the ocean, posing threat to aquatic animals.
