Dear Mr John,
I am writing in response to your enquiry regarding suggestions to improve reception area which you have enquired last week.
Of the different concerns, the worst is that there is not enough space for the visitors to be seated comfortably. Recently, our company has an increased number of visitors, as we announced the launch of our new product. Another concern is that the lack of staff to welcome them and address their queries. We do have only four in the reception, who are much busy most of the day.
We need to understand that reception area is the face of the business and it is possible to convert every visitor to our customer. The way in which we treat them will definitely have an impact on the further contacts we make with them.
The first suggestion which I can make is the replacement of the bulky couch with minimalist chairs which can accommodate more chairs. It would be highly beneficial if we could appoint some supporting staff who are specialised in dealing with visitors in addition to the existing four, who can concentrate more at their work.
