Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to report you the loss of my luggage while I was travelling on Avanti West Coast.

On 22nd of this month, I boarded the train at 7:10 am, and in just three minutes, it departed. It was a business trip, so I was busy in my laptop throughout my journey. By 9:20 am, the train reached its destination, and I deboarded.

It was only when I reached the conference hall, I realised that I left my backpack on the train. It was a black M&S backpack with three large pockets. During the journey, I accidently kept the wrist watch of my grandfather inside that. The watch is very special for me, or else I would not have worried of the incident.

I know Avanti West Coast has a well-reputed customer service, and a very efficient Lost and Found department. It would be appreciated if you could inform this incident to the concerned persons in the aforementioned department, and ask them to reply me on phone. My ticket details, address and phone numbers are enclosed herewith.

I look forward to hearing from you.

 Yours faithfully,

 Samatha Wilfred
