 Dear Mr. Peter,

 I am writing this letter to seek apology for not submitting my project on time.

 I am a student of yours who is pursuing third semester Marketing Strategies. My enrolment number is R2091098 and my student ID card number is TT 00456. The topic of the project which I took this semester is ‘Maximising customer satisfaction’.

 You might know that my project deadline was on 20^th of this month. I was keen in completing the work well ahead of the date. Unfortunately, I fell from stairs of my accommodation and suffered a fracture to my right hand 10 days ago. As I was on hand sling, I was not able to submit the work on time.

 As per my doctor’ advice, my hand has to be completely immobilised for a month. Therefore, I would like to request you to extend the time of submission by three weeks. I have already sought assistance of my roommate to re-organise everything. He will be free from now as he had already submitted his project.

 Once again I express my sincere apology.
