You should spend around 20 minutes on this task.

You could not attend an important seminar at your college. Write a letter to the program coordinator asking him the possibility of an alternative seminar.
In your letter, you should say:

Who you are?
Why you failed to attend the seminar?
Ask him/her for any alternative.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear…………,

Write at least 150 words.

Dear Mr Peter,

I am a final semester Economics student of your college and I am writing this letter to enquire the possibility of an alternative seminar on ‘The Modern Marketing techniques’.

I came to know from my classmates that the last seminar included useful classes on the fast-changing demands of the modern man and the strategies which have to be taken accordingly. I think I missed a great opportunity.

Unfortunately, I could not  attend it as I was hospitalized at that time after an accident. As an eight semester student, seminars on these types of topics are very much important for me and taking part in it can help me in a great way in completing my project work successfully.

It would be appreciated if you could inform me whether you have alternative seminars charted in the current academic year.
