Dear manager,

I am writing this letter to intimate you about a lost item of clothing at your hotel, where I stayed last week.

I checked in room number 304D at the Emerald class in your hotel, the Lao Plaza at 2 pm last Sunday. The purpose of my visit was to attend a seminar on Marketing Strategies the next day at the City Centre. The seminar concluded only at 6 pm, which was an hour late than I expected. As my train was scheduled at 7:30 pm, I packed my belongings from the room in haste and checked out the room by 7 pm.

It was when I reached home, I realised that I left my suite at the hotel room. It was a black Armani suit with horizontal stripes. I bought the suit last month for $4000, and had used it just twice.

It would be very disappointing for me to lose such a refined piece of clothing. I therefore would like you to make arrangements to find it and courier it to me at the earliest. Both my office and home address are attached here with.
