Dear Ms Charlotte,

I am writing to bring your attention towards the unprofessional standards which I learned from one of the three waiters in our canteen.

The name of the employee is Mr Peter, who commenced his work on 3^rd of this month. Since his joining, in just two weeks’ time, there were three allegations against him from our customers and all three were his unfriendly behaviour towards them.

As a line manager, I have enquired about his conduct with his teammates last day and they reported that he hardly communicates with them. Apart from that, they reported that he leaves the canteen at breaks and returns late to work.

I approached him and expressed my concern regarding his attitude towards both the customers and his colleagues, however he was seen less interested in the talk. I would suggest you to meet him in person when you return after your holidays and solve the issues after identifying the underlying reasons behind his behaviour.
