Dear Mr and Mrs William,
I am a new resident of 21 Bathurst Street and I am writing to invite you for a party which I am going to hold for all the families in the street on this Christmas Eve.
I am a software engineer in the Amazon at 18 York Street and my wife is a nurse in the Baycrest Hospital. We have two boys, the elder is doing his undergraduate in Computer Science and the younger is at school.
Since we moved here on 15 December, we have been thinking of making acquaintance with all in the locality. It was my elder son, Kevin, who came with the idea of holding a party and knowing each other simultaneously. We are planning to host the party in our house at 9 pm, and ‘The Little Ladies’, the local band, is performing on that day. Following that, a dinner is also arranged for all.
