Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to intimate you regarding the pathetic condition of the Vincent Castle, a war monument in the town.

The building is a historical remain of the war between the French and the  British. Built in the 19th century, the monument is 20 meters tall and occupies more than 10000 square feet area. It houses the weapons and armors used by the soldiers at the time along with water painted portraits of the war.

The first problem which I found is the poor maintenance of the building, especially the large corridor where the water paintings are placed. The next problem is the dilapidated state of the spiral ladder towards the first floor, which causes inconvenience for many those who want to visit the top floor and the balcony.

It would be appreciated if you could publicize an article regarding this on your local newspaper, so that the authority would take necessary actions.
