Dear Mr Alfred,

I am writing to express some concerns about my current accommodation facility at the college.

I am an overseas student, doing my second semester undergraduate course in Economics. My student ID is NJ78452 and I am given a sharing accommodation in the North Block. My roommate is a research scholar, and his name is Isaac Gladwin.

The first problem which annoys me is the study time of Mr Gladwin. He prefers to study after 12am, which disrupts my sleep. It is very hard for me to get sleep when lights are turned on. The next is the privacy issue. He has frequent visitors, discussing all about their research matters and this hardly gives me time to relax freely at the room.

I assume the issue would be solved if you change my accommodation to the South Block, where I can find a sharing room with undergraduate students. If this does not happen, I would go for a private accommodation, which is in the West Block.
