Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to request you to highlight the plan for the construction of a public park by our local council.

Being a permanent resident of St. Thomas town, it was one of my dreams to have a public park in the locality. As the town had doubled its population in the past 5 years, people, especially the children and the aged have been longing for a park which would suit them to relax themselves, and this might have ignited this plan.

However, as the park is planned at the heart of the town, land acquisition is a challenge. The second issue is the re-routing roads. Residents from the south of the town have to travel 1.5 km more to reach the other side by the completion of the park.

In order to solve these anticipated crises, I would suggest the construction to the north of the town, where there are fewer inhabitants.
